Armed with his effervescent personality and charming smile, Dew Jirawat proves he’s good all by himself.
Dew is determined more than ever to be with his Filipino fans in his first solo fan meeting. The rising actor delivered a great show on October 14, 2023 at the Samsung Hall, SM Aura Premier. But before taking on the stage that day, he greeted selected fans and members of the media for a quick press conference.
Dew First Solo Fan Meet in Manila Press Conference Highlights
The multi-hyphenated star answers questions from members of the press through the presscon host. The questions provide a glimpse into Dew’s emotions, aspirations and his preparations for the day’s event.
Dew admits to being nervous as he will see fans alone but expresses his excitement at the same time. He says he is happy to be back and has a lot of surprises in store for fans. Dew says he found his Filipino fans cute the first time he met them. He also reveals that being a celebrity was not a childhood dream.
The actor adds he is still surprised he became one, even to this day. Dew describes his reaction when he received the phone call confirming him as part of the cast of F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers. With a hand sign for the phone, he recalls thinking “Is it true? Really?”.
When it comes to a role he wants to take on, he says he is keen on trying a bad guy character and that he wants to try action movies. As for the message he wants to tell his past self if given a chance to turn back time, he says “You will be very pogi (handsome) in the future”.
As for his favorite actors, he said he really does not want to drop names. However, with the crowd and host’s encouragement, he relents and shares his F4 Thailand co-stars are his favorites. Dew mentions he does not have a particular ritual before facing fans, but if checking himself in the mirror counts as one, that is it. He divulges that off camera, he is someone with a sense of humor but also prone to moments of confusion.
Dew says he could not think of any unique talents fans are not aware of as they know everything. He goes on to reveal he has prepared so much for the fan meet. In order for him to not forget the lyrics, he sings every day. He adds that he also practices how to communicate well and properly so he can interact more with fans. Dew Jirawat caps off the press conference with a wake-up call as a message to fans and poses for photos before going backstage.

At exactly 6 PM Manila time and with much hype from the crowd, Dew Jirawat goes on stage to officially kick off his fan meeting. The venue erupts into a mini-shindig when the host calls out to fans to show how energetic the Filipino crowd can be. Dew says he expects the night to have so much love, power (I think he meant energy), and babies (not really sure what he meant by this). The event consists of several segments which allow fans to know more about their favorite Thai star.
Get To Know Dew
In this corner, each image corresponds to a different aspect of Dew’s life. His first choice is the mask, symbolizing ‘Actor Dew.’ He explains that when he goes to work, he always brings more than just himself; he carries his phone, watch, and his heart. Next, he selects the easel, representing his passion for art.
Dew mentions that if he weren’t an actor, he would likely be a cartoon illustrator. For his third and final image, he picks the microphone, signifying ‘Music’ or ‘Singer Dew.’ He goes on to share his music preferences, in addition to his own work.
Dew’s Wits
For this next segment, Dew challenges himself with the popular Filipino game, Pinoy Henyo (Filipino Genius). This game requires the guesser (Dew) to ask for clues using YES or NO questions. A penalty awaits him if he fails to identify four out of the 10 words.
But if he wins, he will treat fans to a series of cute poses. Dew Jirawat struggles but manages to guess four words correctly, much to the fans’ delight. He shows fans three adorable poses that melted the audience.
Melting Because of Dew
Dew talks about the character in his latest series Home School as well as the MV he starred with Tu Tontawan. For his role as Nai in the thriller-mystery drama Home School, Dew says he loves the character’s aggressiveness and straightforwardness. However, Nai also possesses an innocence in his own way that resonates with Dew.
When asked if he could survive without interaction from the outside world, Dew says he can and adds he can also live without his mobile phone. He pauses, when the host clarifies the duration of the isolation is actually three years, just like in the series. After a little consideration, Dew states that if the fans are with him, he could do it.
As for the music video, I DO: A Love Story in Bangkok he mentions that he accepted the project as he likes working with Tu. He continues by saying, that the narrative excited him as it is about young love. Dew then reveals, he never experienced puppy love during his school days. He ends the segment with a message to his younger self (student Dew) saying “When you grow up, you will be very handsome”.
DEW Let’s go on a Trip
In this part, Dew Jirawat gets to try Filipino snacks. First up, is the halo-halo (shaved ice dessert) which he approves of. He then tries turon (deep-fry banana wrapped in spring roll wrapper). This particular snack pleases his palate as he asks (several times) where he can buy some. The third snack is chicharon (salted and deep-fried pork rind), which reminds him of a similar snack in Thailand.
Performances, fan video events and a Birthday surprise
Dew performed song numbers which include his singles “In The Wind” and “North Star”. His fans also prepared a special video dedication to show their love and support for Dew. A cake is also brought on stage as an advance present for his upcoming birthday (October 30) as the venue blasts a Happy Birthday song. He then takes pictures together with the crowd and tells his fans “Mahal ko kayo habang buhay”.
All people in the venue participate in the Hi-touch session and some fans get to have photo ops with Dew.
