After four years, Lee Jong Suk was able to reunite with his adoring supporters.
On September 12, the actor held a fan meeting titled RE, JONG SUK at Blue Square Mastercard Hall.
Aimed for a celebration that will show Lee’s gratitude to his cherished fans, it holds a different meaning especially since it came four years since his Crank Up Fan Meeting in 2018.
Immediately after the news of the fan meeting was announced, it drew a lot of interest and sold out all seats at the same time as the reservation was opened.
Eager to meet his fans, the lead star of Big Mouth elatedly interacted with fans. With a heart full of excitement, he gifted a song number which the crowd accepted with warm applause.
Additionally, quick event segments delight the fans with updates from the actor. He also engaged in a TMI quiz where fans can guess his preference.
Conveying support to his followers, the “I Hear Your Story” segment allowed him to voice out pieces of advice to the pre-selected situation of his fans needing pep talks.
In the second part, his Big Mouth co-stars Yang Kyung-won and Oh Eui-shik. The three made the fan meeting more engaging by telling exclusive behind-the-scenes stories.
Thereafter, Lee Jong Suk’s “Taste of World Cup” and “Basketball Game” gave fans a round of laughter.
He invited fans to the stage on the spot and played a game together. He showed off his dignity as a global star by saying that the fans selected through a lottery came from various countries such as India, China, and Germany. Fans who were drawn through the game were presented with a gift he prepared himself, showing his unsparing love for the fans.
Indeed a precious time that made up for the long time he hasn’t met his faithful supporters, the event which initially should have been for 100 minutes exceeded 80 more minutes.
At the waning part of the fan meeting, Lee Jong Suk reads a heartfelt letter.
“While preparing for the fan meeting, I thought a lot and thought about whether there was anything else I could give. I’m worried that my feelings would have been conveyed to you all. But I think I’m still lacking. But thanks to that promise, I’m living my life trying to become a better person. Thank you for supporting me, loving me, waiting for me, and coming to meet me. I wanted to say that I miss you a lot and that I love you.”
Aside from the fun and heartening memories shared at Re, Jong Suk, the attendees also had a send-off event and were greeted by Lee Jong Suk one by one.
