Relaying his feelings for the end of the series, he also mentions his recent stint at the equally loved series, Crash Course In Romance where he also played a villain role.

First of all, I feel good because the viewership ratings are good. I am grateful that many people have loved it. It’s the same with Crash Course In Romance, and I’m confused because it went so well after I was discharged from the army. I was lucky. It wasn’t because I was good at it.

Interestingly, Shin filmed the two dramas almost at the same time. The schedule was well coordinated, so there were no overlapping days.

When asked if he really aimed to work on antagonist roles, he responds that he aspires to a good project no matter what the role is.

“I had the desire to act, but I didn’t have the mindset of playing the villain. If I received a proposal for a good project, and I decided to look at it alone. I will choose it regardless of the role.
