“There are things that I am proud of myself, that I am a person who does not make a big mistake and does not cause problems,” he said.
On Self-Esteem & Pursuing Change
So far, the videos released by him truly take that feel of presenting his facets as an actor that blends to what he really is as a person.
Recounting the slump he experienced in his 20’s after an accident that caused him to be hospitalized for a year, Lee Min Ho confessed how that moment fueled his dream.
He also conveyed the hard work he put for his lead role in American produced series Pachinko. Not used to going for an audition, Lee Min Ho prepared a lot with excitement and worry acknowledging the reality of being embarrassed should he failed to get the role.
“I met my colleagues who auditioned for this work. They said they all felt the same. It was a very good experience, and it was exciting,” he added.
Lee Min Ho, who has shown unrivaled presence in his works including The King: Eternal Monarch, The Legend of the Blue City and City Hunter, does not hesitate to pursue change aware that his presence as a top actor may not be always at the peak.
Hence, he aims to work on raw characters that would make him feel the thriving passion that he lost because of too much familiarity.
