In the last season, Yumi separated ways from her boyfriend Gu-woong. With this, she tried her best to move on, even though her love cell was in a coma.
Continuing her life, Yumi did several ways to cope with the pain of their break-up. However, sparks fly when a new man becomes interested in her.

“Yumi, I thought about it a lot and I think we should end it here”
Sitting face to face, when Gu-woong asks Yumi for a break-up, she couldn’t speak and just agreed with him. When the night came, Yumi tries to call Gu-woong so that she can apologize.
However, his number cannot be contacted anymore. Yumi thought that Gu-woong didn’t want a connection anymore. She contemplates whether to delete his number or not.
In the end, she just deleted his number so that she can stop herself from calling.
Yumi also tries to be okay in the midst of work and smiles at her coworkers. Every time she goes home, she slowly accepts that Gu-woong isn’t in love with her anymore.
To cope, Yumi tries to discard all the things that keep reminding her of Gu-woong. However, she’s having a hard time putting it all in the trash because, somehow, she still has some feelings left.
“Let’s date.”
On the other hand, Bobby, Yumi’s handsome coworker starts developing romantic feelings for her. As the two hang out, Bobby asked Yumi for a date, however, she is hesitant at first because she’s currently moving on.
As time goes by, Yumi learns to open her heart again, although the fear of falling in love is there, she wants to give love another try. Later on, Yumi also fell in love with Bobby and they even kissed.

Attempting to give Bobby a Christmas gift, Yumi tries to sell a rice cooker. Since her rent increased, she needs to spend her money wisely. Using her resources, she posted the rice cooker online.
One buyer got interested in the rice cooker. However, the buyer is asking for a 10-dollar discount, that’s why Yumi didn’t entertain the buyer. Later on, the buyer keeps contacting her about the rice cooker.
When it’s time for their meet-up, Yumi is shocked when she saw Gu-woong again. Yumi’s heart is now happy with Bobby; now that she saw Gu-woong again, her heart starts to get confused again.
In the end, Yumi was able to clear her head and remained loyal to Bobby. She also tells Bobby about her encounter with her ex-boyfriend.
Fortunately, he’s very cool with it. The two enjoyed their night together and Yumi likes the warmth she was feeling.
Yumi Cell’s 2 Episodes 1-6 Musings
Opening its second season, Yumi portrayed all the girls that went through a tough break-up. At first, it seems that everything is okay and it looks like Yumi already accepted what had happened.
However, as days go by, little by little, Yumi felt the pain in her chest and the truth that it was already over. After a break-up, it’s normal for us to divert our attention to other things so that our minds won’t be stuck to that certain person.
Starting from discarding the things that remind us of them, going to a movie theatre alone, and buying stuff that we don’t need until drinking our hearts out, Yumi tried all of these but it’s hard to get back on track.
Thanks to Bobby who entered into Yumi’s life and makes it colorful again. Deciding to open up your heart again after your last relationship needs a lot of thinking.
Some people are scared to fall in love again because all the pain may be repeated. However, for Yumi, she decided to move forward because life doesn’t end after a break-up.
On the other hand, the character of Park Jin Young as Bobby bursts with charms. Bobby depicts the epitome of a perfect man. Having the looks, the money, and of course being a non-toxic boyfriend to Yumi, we couldn’t ask for more. We’re hoping that the two would have a happy ending this time.
