Presented by, Pulp Live World Yugyeom is set to perform at the New Frontier Theatre on August 19. The ticket selling period started on July 17 and now it’s only less than 2 weeks ’til PH Ahgase’s witnessed YUGYEOM LIVE IN MANILA.
YUGYEOM Decks 1st Solo Concert In Manila
Yugyeom is a South Korean singer, songwriter and dancer and now, a soloist. He debuted as a member of GOT7 in 2014. After the group’s departure from JYP Entertainment, all members of the multi-hyphenate Korean group GOT7, have started pursuing their individual careers. Be it in music or in acting, the members of the band are thriving in their solo projects.
For instance, Yugyeom is currently signed as an artist of AOMG. He is the fourth member of GOT7 to visit the Philippines this year. Youngjae, BamBam and Jackson Wang, have recently had their fan meets and concerts.
Yugyeom’s Musicality & Art As A Soloist
On June 17, 2021, Yugyeom dropped his first solo Album Point of View: U. The album has seven songs and its title track is “I Want You Around” featuring DeVita, a hip-hop soloist under AOMG Entertainment as well. Impressively, the music video has over 6 million views! Moreover, he released a mini album in April of this year, entitled Talk You Down.
Fun fact, in the two tracks under the mini album, “Take You Down” and “Lights” Yugyeom’s lower register is dominant. This is a new treat for Ahgases since he rarely does that before when recording songs before. More importantly, despite recently starting as a soloist, he has showcased great performances and amazing colors as a musician.

Indeed, Yugyeom poured his heart into making this album along with his team and producers. As a soloist, the tracks on his first album show his artistry. In fact, the majority of the songs on his debut solo album topped both local and international music charts, such as the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart and the Gaon Download Chart.
He also recently completed his successful Europe tour. He performed at Munich and Oberhausen in Germany and is scheduled to perform two shows at Bangkok’s Impact Exhibition Hall 5.
