In a spectacular sea of lime green, yellow, and red lights NCT 127 and their beloved Filo Czennies shared an extraordinary concert to remember!
PH Nctzens filled the Mall of Asia Arena with impressively loud cheers as NCT 127 delivered an electrifying stage presence and incredible vocal power. They sang along wholeheartedly to all the songs on the setlist to express their fan love and support for the multi-national Kpop group. The members felt their warm welcome, and in return, they delivered their promise of gifting performances burning with creativity and passion.
Although the #TheLink is the group’s second world tour, it is their first time to have an actual group concert in Manila. Their precious Czennies have waited for a very long time to meet them. Hence the lads left no crumbs and showcased their group and individual charms and talents, dominating the Mall of Asia Arena. The concert lasted for about three hours and there was never a dull moment.
Phenomenal Opening Stage
Heightening the fans’ excitement, Pulp Live World dimmed the arena and played the main VCR for the concert. Filo Czennies devotedly watched the concert introduction, and not long after, the moment they had been waiting for happened like a dream! NCT 127 rose to the stage, dashing in their white suits, and performed their opening stage, “Kick It”.
What is more, they struck while the iron was hot! Not giving their fans a moment to recover from being mind-blown by the opening performance, the group was on fire performing their track “Lemonade“. Next, they made their Filo fans vigorously groove their neobongs (NCT light as they sang and danced to their track “Simon Says”.
Following their mesmerizing entrance, the group energized PH Czennies. The entire arena ignited in cheers and kilig as the lads introduced themselves. In fact, they arrived ready to greet everyone in English, promising an unforgettable evening and displaying their sincere fondness for their Filo fans! The members one by one shouted, “Manila are you ready?”.
Leader Taeyong asked Filo Czennies if they are ready to have fun to which the crowd delightfully answered yes! Meanwhile, Johnny Suh told their Filo fans to brace themselves for a crazy night. The rest of the multi-hyphenate group’s members also took their time to express how happy they are to see the PH NCTzens.
“Manila, Manila! It’s so good to be here, back in the Philippines. This is our first concert [here] ever. I know how long you’ve waited for this concert. Thank you so much for being patient. We all looked forward to this day as well. So, let’s make it the best show! Thank you so much for coming!” – Mark Lee
Splendid Solo, Duo, and Unit Performances
It is noteworthy how creative and beautiful the stage effects, lighting, and stage designs were most especially in their special performances. After singing and dancing to the first three songs on the setlist, there was a spectacular array of solo and unit performances. In particular, Taeyong and Johnny Suh’s solo performances are indelibly etched in the minds of Czennies!
Moreover, Taeil and Haechan’s stage for ‘Love Sign’ was breathtaking. From high notes to dance breaks and even playing the keyboard, the two delivered a captivating performance. In fact, all the solo and unit stages including Doyoung’s, Mark’s, Jungwoo’s, and Jaehyun’s are top-notch! Remarkably, Yuta’s solo stage performing his self-composed song ‘Butterfly’ made their PH fans emotional and awestruck.

Among the songs in their setlist are “Elevator (127 f), “Highway to Heaven”, and “Favorite”. Never did NCT 127’s energy and charisma waver. One song performance after the other, they raise the bar high to show Manila just how amazing they are as a group artist.
The members’ enthusiasm and talent have accelerated! We also love how they never failed to look stunning in every dance break and solo performance, on top of their ever-growing energy and vocal power! Heartwarming Moments With PH Czennies
All members individually wrote letters to express their sincerity and love for their Filo Czennies. Additionally, the lads ran all over the stage, looking like heartthrobs in their denim-on-denim outfits, to give their fans cute ball souvenirs!
And since their Filo fans love them as much as they do, the lads also received flowers, stuffed toys—and even an edited photo cutout of a bald Taeyong, which made the members laugh! They definitely brought it back with them.
While they were also bidding their goodbyes, they shared memorable funny moments with the crowd. As the translator was trying to speak in English and Tagalog, he stuttered a bit while trying to interpret what Taeyong said. It made the whole arena erupt with chuckles. For instance, Jaehyun who was the next one to speak imitated the translator to make PH Czennies laugh even more.
Ultimately, they are the biggest hit on the stage with their “Cherry Bomb” performance! the group also poured out their utmost vocal power and dance moves in their ‘Sticker’ ending performance, providing the perfect ending stage treat. But there is more! PH Czennies asked for an encore and it was a lovely encore stage they got!
Melting the hearts of everyone as its time to go home, the group reminded their fans to stay safe. They told their Czennies to drink water and be careful on their way home. Alas, the group waved goodbye and bowed to the crowd thanking them for an unforgettable night in Manila!
