Encountering challenges and struggles in the intense process, Seo Hyun Jin brings her cold-hearted and harsh character Oh Soo-jae into life with her expressive acting.
The actress’ eyes, and unique pronunciation and vocalization have left a strong impact in portraying her character’s complex emotions. Together with veteran actors, she has proven her charisma in developing the dramatic tension on set.

When asked how the drama will be remembered by the actress, Seo Hyun Jin replies that she gained more knowledge about the legal field and herself.
“It is a work that I learned a lot about the legal field and learned more about myself.“
Having the recent ending of the drama, the actress finds it to have ended quickly as they filmed it for a long time.
“It’s a work that I concentrated on filming for a long time and in many ways, so it’s rather unfortunate that the drama’s ending seems to have passed so quickly. Thank you for watching till the end.“
With her amazing character portrayal, she inevitably has gained recognition. Talking about that garnered attention, the actress has laughingly shared that she has not realized it as she mostly stays at home with her dog.
“I couldn’t feel it because I couldn’t go anywhere to feel it…”
Although she stayed home most of the time, the actress still recognized her popularity when a lot of people asked her questions about the broadcast.
“However, I thought a lot of people were watching because people around me asked me a lot of places on the broadcast. Thank you.”
Working on Set and Memorable Scene
Commenting on her chemistry with other actors while filming, actress Seo Hyun Jin appreciates the lessons she has learned from her seniors.
“It was an honor to be with Heo Joon Ho and Kim Chang Wan. There is always something I learn from my seniors. The attitude toward acting, both as an actress and human.“
Meanwhile, on working with her juniors, the actress wished that she was kinder to them.
“On the other hand, I’m a little sorry that I couldn’t be more welcoming to my juniors, and I wish that they had a lot of fun on a better set.“
For her memorable scene in the drama, she chooses the ending from the fifth episode. The scene transpires with her confronting Han Gi-taek (Jeon Jae Hong), and a portion of the past is revealed. Ending that, she demands 70 billion Won from Chairman Choi (Heo Joon Ho).
“In fact, we filmed it together in a day, and there were not many scenes, but it was a scene where we ran out of energy after filming. I like the scene because it was so focused and looked like it came out well.“
Goals as an Actress
Thinking about the future life her character Oh Soo-jae will live, Seo Hyun Jin wishes for her genuine happiness.
“There is a life she wants to live. I wish she would put it down and be less intense and honestly happy with herself.“
For her goals as an actress, the actress looks forward to herself becoming more flexible and having humor since she has a lot of worries.
“Think less and talk less…think flexibly, and always have humor. Speaking of which, it seems to be a difficult part.“
Lastly, the actress takes the time to appreciate the love that the drama received up to its finale.
