iQiyi’s first prison-themed Chinese language series “Danger Zone” stars Vic Chou, Sandrine Pinna, Wu Hsing-kuo, Christopher Lee, Berant Zhu, Tseng Chin-hua, and Teresa Daley.
A series of homicide cases involving dismembered body parts break out simultaneously at a coastal town, Donglin.
The Changrong Police Bureau, which is in charge of the investigation, is left awestruck at the series of bewildering events – with no leads to carry on. Despite having kept the investigation under wraps, the news still made its way to the tabloids, sparking mass reports about the situation.
Just when the police were at their wits’ end, rookie detective Ren Fei received a mysterious phone call. The caller turned out to be Liang Yandong, a prison inmate from the notorious Donglin Prison, who shared that the police had been looking in the wrong direction all along.
