Two sold-out concerts in Japan prove Song Kang’s impressive following!
Song Kang held his first Japanese fan meeting, the 2023 Song Kang Fan Meeting “Moment” in Japan on February 18 and 19 drawing 13,000 fans at Yokohama’s Pacifico National Hall and Grand Cube Osaka.
This fan meeting, which was held for the first time after Song Kang’s Japanese fan club recruitment, evoked enthusiastic responses from fans as soon as the news of the event was announced.
The first concert in Tokyo, which was initially planned, sold out 4,500 seats and attracted a lot of attention, and at the request of fans, one concert in Tokyo and two performances in Osaka were added, proving Song Kang’s popularity in Japan.
Song Kang appeared while singing Kyuhyun’s “Flying, Deep in the Night” amidst the enthusiastic cheers of the fans, signaling the sweet beginning of the fan meeting.
Then, starting with the segment ‘The Moment’, where Song Kang and Songpyeons (the name of Song Kang’s fan club) talk about the ‘strong moments’ that Song Kang and Songpyeons have kept, various corners follow. It includes the reenactment of famous lines from his works as well as playing games. He also did song numbers and played the piano.
