On August 19 the New Frontier Theater lit up in green. Kim Yugyeom showered his fans with his mesmerizing visuals plus swag and jaw-dropping performances.
The theater was filled with adoring screams, loud cheers, and a burst of energy from the beginning to the end of #YUGYEOMLiveinMANILA.
Yugyeom made sure that nobody went home without smiling from ear to ear.
Packed with excited fans, the New Frontier Theater on August 19 marked Yugyeom’s first solo concert in Manila.
Setting the mood for PH Dandelions and AHGASES, the opening show by DJ Wegun is a spectacle hyping up the fans with his set playing AOMG and GOT7 songs. PH AHGASES can’t help but sing along and vibe with DJ Wegun.
Opening the Show with a Bang!
Mesmerizing fans on his opening stage, Yugyeom kicked off his solo concert with a spectacular performance of “I Want U Around” from his latest album Point of View: U.
Heightening the ante, he oozes swag and captivating visuals as he took the crowd to music oblivion with his powerful vocal and fantastic choreography in his performance of “Running Through The Rain.”
“Mabuhay Philippines! AHGASE! I am so happy to be in Manila. This is my first solo concert in Asia. “
Of course, a concert would not be complete without interaction with the fans. With Yugyeom coming back to the Philippines for his first solo concert, PH AHGASES and Dandelions screamed at the top of their lungs, chanting his name in unison as they expressed their warm welcome and love for him after his brief warm greetings.
“You know I’m always trying to make good music, right? And lately I’ve been listening to different music like retro [and] RNB but I want to focus more in own voice.”
Thereafter, Yugyeom gifts a sweet serenade of “When U Fall” and then switches the stage gear again with an expressive performance of “Falling In Love” making the audience melt with his unrivaled charms.
As if those are not enough, he dotes on his fans more as he performs non-stop with his tracks “All About U,” “Lights” and “All Your Fault”.
Mind-Blowing Yugyeom Stage
Proving that his first solo concert was definitely worth the wait, Yugyeom spoiled his fans with a electrifying performance of “Take You Down”. There, he teased the fans by quickly lifting his shirt and showing his abs making the crowd go wild.
The next set of songs saw Yugyeom vibing together with his backup dancers and DJ Wegun dancing with “Mommae” by Jay Park and singing “All I Wanna Do”. Plus, he treated the fans with his new unreleased song “Always Ready”.
Striking another highlight at his debut Manila solo concert, he powered an energizing Chingiz Khan dance break. Giving the best of his vocal and dance performances, Yugyeom was unstoppable like the raging cheers of the crowd.
After calming the fans down with his performance of “Love The Way” he teased the fans by seemingly ending the concert as the lights slowly dimmed.
However, the fans chanted that “no one’s going home!” It was both hilarious and adorable when Yugyeom was confused trying to understand what the fans just said.
” I chose this song for you because you guys give good energy.”
Obliging to the fans’ request, he set the stage on fire with this explosive performance of “Hard Carry”. Knowing how to contribute well, the crowd impressively raves with his music, hyping his energy up a notch. Yugyeom made PH AHGASES and Dandelions’ night unforgettable when he decided to join the crowd.
