In a joint announcement, the actor and his now-former agency cleared the conflict about his contract expiration.
It was clarified that the original contract between the two parties ended at midnight of May 11.
On May 14, Kim’s brother who represented him met with O&Entertainment to resolve the misunderstanding. Moving forward, both sides decided to settle the issue once and for all without any conditions and genuine support for each other’s future.
Previously, Kim announced the exclusive contract with his former agency ended already. He asserted that the agency enforced his schedule even when he had health problems.
Accordingly, O&Entertainment argued that the actor had not been able to conduct normal activities for 11 months due to personal reasons during the contract period, and refuted that the contract should be terminated through other procedures.
Thankfully, the two parties arrive at the best possible conclusion.
Kim Jung Hyun is admired for his portrayals in dramas School 2017, Welcome To Waikiki, and Crash Landing On You.
