Five years ago, Kim Soo Hyun scored one of his many adorable drama roles as Seung-chan in The Producers. He portrayed a dorky newbie variety-show producing director. He stars alongside Gong Hyo Jin, Cha Tae Hyun and IU.
Showing close friendship with the PD Shim Jae Hyun, Kim Soo Hyun gifted a coffee truck to the filming location of the director’s new series, Zombie Detective.
Also a KBS2 drama, The Producers aired in 2015 and was dubbed as a hybrid of drama and variety show. Its highest viewership rating reached 17.7% nationwide.
Even after the series the two collaborated with ended, the actor and director continue their friendship. With encouraging messages displayed on the coffee truck setup, the actor authenticated his strong support to the director, actors and production crew.
Recently, Kim Soo Hyun appeared in the highly-lauded tvN series, It’s Okay To Not Be Okay with Seo Ye Ji.
