In a heartwarming and honest moment, veteran actress Lee Bo Young offered a glimpse into her personal life and marriage to fellow actor Ji Sung, highlighting not perfection, but partnership.
On August 1, Lee Bo Young appeared in a new episode of Hyeri’s YouTube series 혤’s Club, where she chatted candidly with the host, Girl’s Day member and actress Lee Hyeri.
The episode, cheekily titled “Hey guys, hello? I heard my Bo-young sister is coming out with a drama, so please leave some nice comments,” was filled with warmth, laughter, and unfiltered reflections on love and life behind the scenes.
Hyeri playfully introduced Lee Bo-young and Ji Sung as her ultimate “wannabe couple,” praising their long-standing relationship and undeniable chemistry. “They just look so good together,” she said. “They’ve been so consistently happy for the past 10 years—it’s inspiring.”
Curious and sincere, Hye-ri asked, “What kind of person should I marry?”—a question that prompted Lee Bo-young to reflect on her own marriage and what truly makes it work.
“Being married to Ji Sung is amazing,” she said, smiling. “But it’s not always sunshine and rainbows. We’ve had our ups and downs too. Happiness isn’t constant—it’s something we choose and work on every day.”
She went on to describe one of the cornerstones of their relationship: unconditional support. “Whatever I do, he’s always on my side. That’s what really matters.
