Stunning and talented actress Seohyun scored two honors at the recently concluded 2022 KBS Drama Awards.
It was indeed a colorful year for Seohyun who completed various ventures in 2022.
Following her engrossing portrayal in Netflix film Love and Leashes, she also made waves together with fellow Girls’ Generation members for their 15th-anniversary comeback.
Thereafter, she starred in the well-received fantasy romance series, Jinxed At First. In the drama, Seohyun portrayed Seulbi, a goddess of luck with the mysterious ability to see the future of people she touches. Her bright and refreshing appearance lit up the small screen convincingly.
Relevantly, her remarkable portrayal earned her a Best New Actress award at the recent 2022 KBS Drama Awards. Along with that, her on-screen chemistry with Na In Woo was also recognized as one of the Best Couples at the award ceremony.
Conveying her gratitude for the recognition, Seohyun expressed wise words and a promise to pursue improving her craft as an actress.
“The Rookie Award is a once-in-a-lifetime award, so just being nominated was thrilling. I feel really honored to win the award. I don’t think there is really a right answer to acting. It seems to be more difficult the more I do it, and I have more worries every time, but I will become a sincere actor who finds my own correct answer in the beautiful art of acting where there is no difficult answer. Once again, thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
In the midst of her recent career milestones, Seohyun’s performance is expected to stand out in 2023 as well. She is expected to appear in the film Holy Night: Demon Hunters. Currently, she is filming the Netflix series, Song of the Bandits.
