The lead vocalist of EXO prepares for his upcoming first solo album to be released by the end of July.
One of EXO’s powerful and talented vocalists, D.O, sets to have his first solo album. His agency recently confirmed that Do Kyung Soo‘s album is available to stream in July.
SM Entertainment also added, “Please pay a lot of attention,” creating expectations for fans.
EXO’s D.O is known for having a majestic and soulful voice that features in some K-Drama OSTs. His solo tracks include “Crying Out” from the movie Cart.
Together with actor Jo Jung Suk, they lend their voices to their movie My Annoying Brother. The track entitled “Don’t Worry” completes the masterpiece movie along with their outstanding acting skills.
After performing solo tracks and OST, D.O finally creates and shares his well-deserved first album with everyone.
Focusing on producing top-notched music and acting performance
He recently finished his military enlistment on January 25 this year. He is the second member to finish his enlistment after Xiumin got discharged.
On the day of his deployment, SM entertainment released a recorded live performance of “That’s Okay.” His song left comfort and warmth to fans before he leaves for enlistment.
However, his discharge brought good news to fans. D.O announced, “There’s a lot of music I want to do personally. I’m working hard to tell you,” he said.
“I’m working hard to prepare for my (solo) album. The song is ready, and we are working on the lyrics. I don’t know when I’ll be back.” D.O continues, “I’ll get it ready and let you know.”
In addition, the idol shares his plan on also working hard on his acting career. Kyung Soo reveals to make an appearance in a Sci-Fi film, The Moon.
He will be working with Director Kim Yong Hwa and known actors; Sol Kyung Gu, Kim Hee Ae, and Jo Han Chul.
D.O will also star in a remake of a Taiwanese fantasy romance film, Unspeakable Secret.
