Yoo Jun Sang Captures Inner Turmoil of His Character In “Alchemy Of Souls”

One of the key characters in Alchemy of Souls is Park Jin portrayed by the skillful actor Yoo Jun Sang.

Set in Daeho, a kingdom that does not exist in history or maps, the fantasy romance drama chronicles the stories of people whose fates have been twisted due to remembrance magic that can alter souls.

Park Jin knows the secret of Jang Wook’s (Lee Jae Wook) identity through his best friend Jang Gang. Opting to protect him, he is resolute in his decision to have Wook live a lowkey life.

His furtive affection for Jang Wook, whom he cherishes like his own child, adds dimension to the emotions of both their characters. It further amplifies the weight of sentiments in the series.

In addition, the chemistry of Yoo Jun Sang is also evident with Oh Nara who portrays Kim Do-joo. Their casual chats of how they had been wallowing in their one-sided affections evoke amusement.

How they will blossom into a middle-aged romance is something to look forward to on the horizon.
