His “The 10th Season” fan meeting was held as a celebration not only of his career but also of a decade of memories and affection that he had shared with his beloved Holies.
Prior to the start of the fan meeting, Jung Hae In sat down with the local media for a short press conference. Dressed in a suave grey suit and looking as dazzling as ever, the actor greeted everyone and shared his excitement about being able to host his fan meeting in Singapore for the first time.
Despite it not being his first time in the country, he mentioned that he is still most impressed by Singapore’s skyline and the local delicacies. Reflecting on his decade of acting, Jung Hae In also shared that the most cherished moments of his career were not the films nor dramas that he had previously featured in, but instead, it was the precious memories he had forged with his fans over the years through his fan meeting tours in various countries.
Beyond that, he also cheekily shared that the drama genre that he would like to try if given the chance would be comedy or romantic comedy.
As SG Holies gathered at the venue, the air was filled with much excitement and anticipation. The fan meeting began with an electrifying atmosphere as Jung Hae In graced the stage, serenading the crowd with “Crazy”, a breath-taking performance that left everyone in awe.
Amidst the cheers and applauses from SG Holies, he teasingly and candidly confessed that he was feeling so nervous about his last stop of the fan meeting tour in Singapore that he made a mistake during his first song, endearing himself to the audience even more.
The first segment featured Hae In’s Photo Studio, where he took fans on a stroll down memory lane as he shared exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from his ten-year journey. SG Holies were treated to a precious glimpse into his life, beginning with an adorable fetus picture he took from his early debut days.
The D.P. star even shared a nostalgic moment that he captured while he was filming Something In The Rain, explaining his fondness for taking photos on set to seize the moment. However, he humorously mentioned that his recent shoots involving bloody makeup have deterred him from taking such photos.
He even hosted an interactive session with fans as they voted on whether they preferred him with short or long hair. Since many SG Holies preferred him with short hair, he sweetly promised that he would cut his hair short for his next fan meeting, much to their delight.
Beyond that, Jung Hae In also shared a special memory of his previous trip to Singapore when he came to promote his drama, Connect, reminiscing about the warm reception he had received.
When asked about what he will say to his pre-debut self as he reflects on his journey, he shared that whilst there will be many ups and downs that will happen over the years, all the good things and difficult times ahead will be conquerable with the love that he will receive.
The second segment of the fan meeting featured Jung Hae In’s Museum, where he donned various outfits and props from his drama characters, evoking nostalgia whilst connecting with the fans. Hae In spoke about the characters he had portrayed over the years and revealed that the character he held the most special attachment to was Lim Su-ho from Snowdrop due to the character’s tragic fate.
He even shared that he had asked the director if he could film Lim Su-ho’s final dying scene on the last day of the shoot for Snowdrop and till now, he still remembers how he left the set with a sense of sadness and regret.
Amazed by the energy of SG Holies, he embarked on the third segment of the fan meeting – Jung Hae In’s Best Scenes, where iconic scenes from his dramas were showcased, accompanied by his personal memories of filming those scenes. He discussed how he prepared himself for the emotional scenes, emphasizing his approach to thinking from each character’s perspective.
Acknowledging his fans’ perception of him as cute, he expressed his intention to challenge himself to show more of his cute side in future dramas. Furthermore, he even revealed his preparation for shirtless scenes, which involved him having to stay dehydrated for nearly two days before filming in order to present his best appearance.
Fun fact, Jung Hae In’s favorite scene that he has ever filmed was the last scene in D.P.2!
Following a VCR break and a quick outfit change, the actor returned on stage to serenade fans with “Stand By Your Man”. Afterward, the interactive game sessions with lucky fans continued, with selected fans having the golden opportunity to play games with Jung Hae In on stage, hug him, and even take selfies with him.
In a touching moment, Jung Hae In shared words of encouragement for fans going through difficult times, expressing his belief in destiny and reassuring them that more good things would eventually come their way so they should not be disheartened.
The night continued with “A Grain Of Sand”, with him expressing his utmost gratitude for the cheers and support from the crowd that had made the last stop of his fan meeting tour so memorable, easing his nerves.
