PH Hottests, surely had a memorable and fun night with Ok Taecyeon at his Philippine fan meeting.
His first-ever solo fan meeting, 2023 Ok Taecyeon in Manila: SpecialTY was held on September 23 at the New Frontier Theater. Presented by Pulp Live World.
Exciting the event right off the bat, he performed “Magic” followed by “Anyway” in the opening stage.
Bringing joy and excitement to the audience, he introduces himself in local language saying, “Ako ay si Borta Taecyeon. Na miss ko kayo talaga. Welcome po sa lahat dito SpecialTY ngayon. Sobrang masaya ako dito ngayon sa Pilipinas. (I am Taecyeon. I miss you a lot. Welcome all to this Specialty fan meeting. I am so happy that I am here in the Philippines.)”
He thanks his fans for coming despite the rain. He said it’s been 10 years since he last came to the country. He is so grateful for the hospitality and happy to be with his fans.

Animatedly sharing stories, he answered questions regarding himself, his group 2PM, and his recently concluded drama HeartBeat.
Keen to sweetly please his fans, he gamely did 10 different heart poses. Sharing a few trivia about himself, he shared that he started to drink coffee in his late 20s and likes hot Americano over Iced Americano.
Doting on his raving followers, he also read messages from his fans and even took selfies with some.
Showcasing his talent, he gifted the crowd with a song that he wrote himself about vampires which is inspired by HeartBeat. He surprised his Filipino fans by serenading them with an all-time Filipino hit song, “Forevermore” by Side A. In the last part of the song, he encouraged his fans to sing with him and it was a beautifully captured moment.
In the next corner, SpecialTY- Special Thank You, Taecyeon prepared something to give to his fans. He said, he even learned how to make coffee for that segment. He designed a reusable cup for his lucky fan. Then, he brewed a special coffee for the lucky fan who won the draw.
Filo Hottests did not let Taecyeon be the only one giving gifts that night. Taecyeon was surprised to see the video greetings from his Filipino fans. He repeatedly thanks his fans, for supporting him and 2PM. The audience teases him with “Iiyak na yan. Iiyak na yan.” which made him laugh but tells them that he is not gonna cry.
Before he performed his last few songs, he thanked his fans once again. He asked the audience if they had fun and they said “yes”. Taecyeon said that he had fun too. He is happy to spend time with his Filipino fans.
And he will try to come back as soon as possible. He also asked the fans what is their favorite part of the show, they they unanimously answered, “Forevermore”. He promised to prepare something new when he came back again.
Taecyeon did a very good job of connecting with his fans during this event. His sense of humor is evident and the audience loves it.
Wrapping up the fan meeting, he sings, “Toc toc toc”, “Champagne”, “I’ll Be’, and “Hands Up”. Encouraging the audience to stand up and enjoy his songs turned the fan meeting into a party.
Needless to say, it was a night to remember not only for PH Hottests but also for Taecyeon.
