Teaser photos of Ahn Hyo Seop in SBS drama Lovers of the Red Sky were unveiled and intrigued many because of his red eyes.
Directed by Jang Tae Joo and written by Kim Young Young, the drama unfolds the story of Hong Cheon Gi (Kim Yoo Jung), who fell in love with Ha-Ram (Ahn Hyo Seop), even though he is blind.
Hong Cheon Gi is known for her magnificent painting skills. She’s also picked as the first female painter at the Korean Royal Academy of Painting.
Besides her talent in painting, she’s also beautiful and has a vibrant personality, and considers painting as her everything. She then meets Ha-Ram and falls for him; not minding that he is blind.
Ahn Hyo Seop Turns Into a Mysterious Man With Red Eyes
In the recent teaser steels of Ahn, many are curious about his role in the new drama; Lovers of the Red Sky.
Wearing a shiny blue hanbok, many are captivated by his red eyes. In the drama, Hyo Seop becomes Ha-Ram, an officer who is in charge of astronomy, geography, the art of divination, and meteorology.
During Ha-Ram’s childhood, he was used for a ritual for rain and encountered an accident that causes him to be blind.
Even though Ha-Ram can’t see Cheon-gi, he still waits for her. She also keeps appearing on Ha-Ram’s side.
Moreover, besides the romance that might happen between them, many anticipate the reason behind his red eyes, or if there’s a chance for Ha-Ram to see again.
Actor Ahn proved her excellent acting skills and seized many roles in popular dramas like Still 17, Abyss, and the hit medical drama Dr. Romantic 2.
