Upcoming tvN weekend drama Alchemy of Souls Part 2 tells the story of how young mages overcome their twisted fates in a fictional country nonexistent in history or maps called Daeho.
Continuing from the drama’s first part, it is a fantasy romance that now follows the story of Jang Wook (portrayed by Lee Jae Wook) coming back alive after his death. In addition to that, the drama is set to show the life of the new alchemists after three years.
Returning back to life with stronger charisma in the darkness, Lee Jae Wook’s character Jang Wook radiates monster-like energy in his newly released character stills.
In the released teasers, Jang Wook no longer exudes nobility as a young master of the Jang family, creating an atmosphere filled with coldness and mystery while being in isolation.
Expressed in his eyes, a glimmer of Jang Wook’s loneliness and emptiness sparks curiosity about what tragic fate Jang Wook encountered after being pierced in the chest and losing his love.
Reunited with Nak-su’s sword, anticipations for the drama continue to rise with the interest in Jang Wook’s story after three years.
Alchemy of Souls Part 2 is set to premiere on December 10.
