Premiering on June 24, Coupang Play’s Anna features another award-winning actress as part of its cast lineup. Known for her portrayal in Nobody’s Daughter Hae Won, Jung Eun Chae bagged many Best New Actress Awards from different prestigious film festival ceremonies.
The actress also made a breakthrough performance on the small screen in The King: Eternal Monarch. Furthermore, Jung stars in Dr. Frost, The Guest, and Pachinko, to name a few.

Based on the novel Intimate Stranger written by Jeong Han-ah, Anna narrates the unpredictable and inquisitive story of Lee Yu Mi (Bae Suzy). She suffers from Ripley Disorder which made her commit lies about herself.
Whenever Yumi lies, she ends up living in someone else’s life. She shares a tense relationship with Hyun Joo (Jung Eun Chae), a woman who treats everyone with neither kindness nor spite.
Portraying an interesting character, Jung expresses feelings as she set to add a rich and strong presence to the drama.
“When I read the scenario, it was so much fun. The material was very fresh and the dark side, bright and ironic, and two-sided points were attractive. Above all, I participated in the play with the desire to see it as a work.”
In the recent stills of Anna, the actress shifts into two different personalities of her character. In the first still, Jung shows a warm and bubbly character while holding a puppy.
The atmosphere then changes as the actress overwhelms her still with her strong and fierce presence. Her appearance pivots into a sophisticated character while she is seriously talking with someone.
From these stills, the series proves that each character will provide different colors and charm with their portrayal.
