Contemplating on the young people’s lives when viewed from a distance, and when viewed up close, the series may seem to be warm and romantic. But in reality, it is expected to present the harsh reality of college students in a campus setting.

The poster released on May 28 stimulates curiosity with the appearance of the characters who have a bright and refreshing yet vague mood as if implying that each has their own story.

First, Park Jihoon plays Yeo-jun. He becomes the most popular guy on campus upon his enrolment. His handsome appearance, amicable personality, and his status as a son from a wealthy family contradict his somewhat grim glance. Kim So-bin, portrayed by Kang Min Ah, shows the grievances of young people who are frustrated with their realities of having ordinary grades and typical specs. In the poster, Kang Min-ah shows a three-dimensional character expression with a bright smile like the spring sunshine and a refreshing atmosphere as a college student. Expectations increase for the campus story she will draw, who is second to none in her effort.

Lastly, Bae In Hyuk is expected to represent the hardship of young people by taking the role of Nam Soo-hyun. He is a hard-working perfectionist who suffers from a lack of sleep while studying. Because of his part-time job, he voluntarily cuts off human relationships. Looking cold, but with a pale smile as if it couldn’t be seen, we can glimpse both sides of the light and shadow of youth.

Boasting a lineup of young actors of different colors, At A Distance Spring Is Green invites an exciting campus drama. It begins to broadcast on June 14, 9:30 PM KST via KBS 2TV.
