Gong Seung Yeon is ready to tell the tragic and lonely story of Dan Sol in tvN’s Bulgasal: Immortal Souls.
The upcoming Saturday and Sunday fantasy drama series, Bulgasal: Immortal Souls, tells the sad but beautiful journey of Dan Hwal (Lee Jin Wook). He is an immortal man known as a Bulgasal, who is incapable of killing or dying for almost 600 years. Dan Hwal is on the chase for a woman — also a Bulgasal — and is now hiding as a human.
Recently, the production team released a charismatic and expensive character stills of Lee Joon. In contrast, Gong Seung Yeon‘s stills set an emotional and somber atmosphere as Dan Sol.
The actress portrays the wife of Dan Hwal 600 years ago. Dan Sol is also the only daughter of Dan Geuk (Jung Jin Young), who made her life tortuous.
Her entire life was spent on the “battlefield” and never received and experienced her father’s love. Dan Sol also struggled in an unwanted marriage arranged by her father. Even though she has a family that loves her only child, she still faces tragedy.
On her stills, the actress transformed into the miserable Dan Sol. Despite wearing a colorful hanbok, her hair is messy, and her lips are dry as a result of tirelessly crying.
Furthermore, the second still pokes curiosity about the blindfolded child riding the horse with Dan Sol. Nevertheless, her story and maternal love will unveil soon.
The production team of Bulgasal: Immortal Soul also shared, “You will be able to feel the weight and depth of actor Gong Seung Yeon through the character of Dan Sol.”
“There is still a lot of information hidden, and it will show an impact and unpredictable story. Please look forward to it,” inviting the audience to watch the performance of the actress.
Unveil the tragic fate of Dan Sol in Bulgasal: Immortal Souls on December 18 through Netflix.
