Cleaning Up drops fun character posters of Yum Jung Ah, Jeon So Min, and Kim Jae Hwa, ahead of the drama’s premiere on June 4.
JTBC’s comical drama, Cleaning Up, flaunts its three female leading stars with their colorful and playful posters. Furthermore, the trio shares their filming experiences. Aside from that, the production team of the series reveals the actresses’ charming points.
The series tells the story of three cleaners, Eo Yung Mi (Yum Jung Ah), Ahn In Kyung (Jeon So Min), and Maeng Joo Sa (Kim Jae Hwa). As they carve their destiny, the three overhear confidential information that changed their lives.
Yeom Jung Ah’s Comeback Drama
Known for her fierce performance in SKY Castle, the actress returns to the small screen as Eo Yung Mi. On her poster, Jung Ah holds a vacuum cleaner as if she’s cleaning 50,000 won bills on the floor.
The production team of Cleaning Up also applauds her perfect character transformation.
“Yum Jung Ah’s reliable acting brings both persuasion and immersion to Eo Yong Mi’s narrative and emotion. You can count on it.”
They also pointed out the trio’s performance in the drama,

Jeon So Min’s Decision To Be Part Of The Trio
Taking the role of Ahn In Kyung, the actress introduces her interesting character.
“If there is an angel and a devil in a human self, In Kyung is a sincere and conscientious person whose angel’s face is more prominent.”
Jeon also proves her versatility by performing in different genres such as romance, melodrama, and horror. In transitioning to her character, the actress permed her hair, saying it “gives both glamor and furry feeling.”
She then revealed that her reason for joining Cleaning Up is because of Yum Jung Ah and Kim Jae Hwa’s presence.
“I wanted to do more with the news of the seniors’ casting. In fact, you study a lot when you come to the scene. Above all, they both help and care a lot in making the shooting comfortable. They also foster warm out-of-shooting relationships. That’s why I often think, ‘I should be a senior like that.'”
The actress added,
“It would be nice to see how the three sisters, who are united because of an incident build friendships. All the staff and actors are shooting with affection in one mind. I ask for a lot of attention to the Cleaning Up, which is funny, salty, warm, touching, dreamy, curious, and sympathetic.”
Kim Jae Hwa’s Preparation For Her Role
Playing Maeng Soo Ja, the actress relays in public her character and her preparations.
“Soo Ja changes dynamically in one work according to various situations. I don’t like people very much by nature, but I can change into a social figure if necessary. Therefore, when necessary or unnecessary, she activates livelihood-friendly power and changes the facial expressions freely.”
Furthermore, Jae Hwa expresses her gratitude for taking such role.
“As an actor, I am very happy to play such a different persona. I am faithful to the script. I painted my hair a little white and my face covered with wrinkles and dark circles. I also want to point out the good fashion sense of In Kyung, but Soo-ja is not that good.”
The actress also takes the chance to commend her fellow cast, commenting,
“Yum Jung-ah shows why acting is an art. Fans waiting for her comeback drama will feel the same way I had. Jeon So Min is truly an angel. She is an actor who looks tough but soft enough to bring warmth.”
She also added,
