NCT’s Kim Doyoung, Han Ji Hyo, and Kwon Ah Reum, show energizing charm in Dear X Who Doesn’t Love Me first script reading session.
TVING’s upcoming magical-romance drama Dear X Who Doesn’t Love Me successfully wraps its first script run-through.
Despite meeting each other for the first time, the whole cast of the series synergizes with full energy.
Piloting the series are Director Ko Jae Hong (Handmade Love) and Writer Hwang Hye Ji (Nothing Serious).
Furthermore, Dear X Who Doesn’t Love Me is NCT’s main vocalist Doyoung, and will be his debut drama.
Apart from that, he also debuted as a male lead in a web drama, Cafe Midnight Season.
Dear X Who Doesn’t Love Me tells the story of a university student, Seo Hee-soo (Han Ji Hyo), who dreams to be a song lyricist. Despite dreaming high, she has little to no self-esteem and never dated in her life.
She then found a mysterious lyrics notebook that makes love come true, helping her to get close to men. Her best friend, Jung Si-ho (Kim Do Young), the only one who knows the notebook, will also get close to Hee-soo more.
Besides the lead cast, actors Bang Jae Min, Son Hyun Woo, and Kim Ji Hoon attended the recent script run-through. Furthermore, Doyoung and Han Ji Hyo showed perfect teamwork as they proved that they are prepared for their roles.
Adding more energy, Kwon Ah Reum, who plays the confident part-timer Park Se-jin, expresses her character naturally. More characters were also introduced in the session portrayed by rookie actors.
Bang Jae Min plays Kim Do-bin, a vocal of a songwriting club. Hee-soo’s club senior member, Kim Kang-woo will be portrayed by actor Son Hyun Woo.
Lastly, Kim Ji Hoon, who plays Park Joon-young entangles with Han’s character.
