Promising another unique character and stellar drama story, Cho Seung Woo portrays the titular role in the highly-awaited JTBC drama.
Divorce Attorney Shin tells the story of a 45-year-old piano artist turned divorce lawyer, Shin Sung-han, played by Cho Seung Woo.
He will encounter different disputes in marriage and brings back together married couples and solves their family problems. It will also show stories he shared with his two best friends.
Han Hye Jin will take on the role of Lee Seo-jin, the female lead in the drama. Rounding up the lead cast are Kim Sung Kyun and Jung Moon Sung who will be playing the roles of Cho’s friends in the series.
Penning the script for Sacred Divorce is Writer Yoo Young Ah of Thirty-Nine and Encounter fame.

Shin Sung-han: A Music Professor Turned Lawyer
Cho Seung Woo portrays Shin Sung-han, an artist who loves piano and wine. He grew up without worrying about anything in a wealthy family environment and was appointed as a professor at a German university in his 30s with a brilliant mind and a gentle personality.
Moreover, he was recognized for his piano playing skills and talent early on, and while living a life that could not be more affluent, one day, a sudden news broke out and he lost his life.
Thereafter, Sung-han who lost his life’s vigor prepare for the bar exam to become a lawyer after intensely studying. Curiosity is raised about why he abandoned the life of an artist and stepped into the legal profession.
In the preview photos, the transition to his new profession also shows how his lifestyle changed. Interestingly, he became enthused to sing trot songs instead of listening to classical music, and he prefers soju over wine.
Examining the case documents, not sheet music, and showing the awkwardness of being a bachelor at 42 receiving the hug of the client who was expressing gratitude. His adorable class is also captured while drinking soju in a wine glass with cheese on the side exuding traces of his old self.
As such, expectations are high for Cho Seung Woo’s transformation from a music professor to a lawyer.
