Wise Resident Life (언젠가는 슬기로울 전공의생활) LT depicts the realistic hospital life and friendship stories of professors and residents at a university hospital.
Director Shin Won-ho, who created the Reply and Hospital Playlist series, and writer Lee Woo-jung participate as creators in tvN’s new drama Someday Wise Resident Life. It will be directed by Lee Min-soo and written by Kim Song-hee.
Director Shin and writer Lee, who participate as creators in this work, have presented viewers with acclaimed dramas with resonating stories and unique, relatable situations. By spearheading this new project, they expand their creative work to the fresh fun and unique emotions that will be shown through Wise Resident Life.
In the drama, Go Youn Jung and Kang Yoo Seok transform into first-year residents at Jongno Yulje Hospital. Both take their very first doctor roles in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
It is expected that many viewers will sympathize with the hospital life of novice doctors, which resembles everyone’s first social life, and the turbulent friendships of young people that will bloom even in the process of harsh training. Eventually, the gradual growth of residents will make everyone feel excited. It aims to tell a story that will cheer them on as they become wiser one day.
