MBC’s upcoming Friday-Saturday series continues to engross viewers with its display of splendid and regal teasers.
Based on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name, Golden Spoon tells the life adventure of a child born in a poor family, who obtained a golden spoon. Thereafter, his fate changed with a friend, who was born into a wealthy family.
In the drama, Yook Sung Jae plays Lee Seung-cheon, an ordinary student who dreams of turning his life around with a golden spoon. He is told that his momentary choice will change his fate, and he will pay the price for it and lead a tumultuous life.
Here, he leads a colorful story by living a life in contrast with Hwang Tae-yong (Lee Jong Won), originally born with a golden spoon. In addition, Seung-cheon will tell a richer story by intertwining with Na Joo-hee (Jung Chaeyeon), the daughter of a chaebol with an upright personality, and the pretty Oh Yeo Jin (Yeon Woo).
Previously, Golden Spoon released a teaser poster with a golden crown hanging on the throne. The text on the poster shared becoming rich by changing parents.
Bearing The Weight of The Crown
Now, the latest poster displays a striking image of the lead cast. While Lee Seung-cheon beams with a crown on his head, Na Joo-hee stares blankly with a crown on her lap.
Interestingly, the idea of how the two want each other’s life raises anticipation about how they will be able to rise to the throne they seek.
Meanwhile, Hwang Tae-yong, the only person who does not hold a crown, also stands out. He sits with a relaxed expression as if he is not interested in the crown. Likewise, Oh Ye-jin who looks uncaring about the crown she’s holding evokes the same vibe.
As seen through the poster, Golden Spoon is expected to bring about a change in the unique relationship as various emotions of the characters are intertwined in the struggle over their desires.
The secret story of the four young people who treat the crown in different ways will be unveiled in Golden Spoon on September 23, 9 PM on MBC!
