Disney+ has unveiled teaser photos of the lead cast of Grid.
Along with character sketches, Seo Kang Joon, Kim Ah Joong, Kim Mu Yeol, Kim Sung Kyun and Lee Si Young are all decked for their latest riveting project.
Scheduled for February 16 air date, Grid tells the story of an “unknown ghost” that disappeared after creating “grid”, a shield that saved mankind from the solar wind. The ghost appears 24 years later and becomes an accomplice of a serial killer.
Grid is the first K-genre to be proudly introduced in 2022 by Disney+, a world-class streaming service that provides the best entertainment experience with excellent storytelling and innovative content.

In the released still cuts of the lead stars, expectations are high with how the actors are immersed into their latest characters.
First, the persistent chaser of the ‘ghost’, Kim Sae-ha is brought to life by Seo Kang Joon. He radiates a strong presence and conviction. The tenacity and earnest gaze that will surely reveal the truth of the ‘ghost’ that reappeared after 24 years adds to the persuasiveness of the character.
Kim Ah Joong, who returned as a homicide detective, is already equipped with a strong detective aura. Portraying Jung Sae-byeok, she sparingly makes effort to intense action scenes.
Next, the cold eyes and unfathomable thoughts of Song Eo-jin (Kim Mu Yeol), who denies the existence of the ‘ghost’ faces a predicament.
When he confronted a cryptic situation of a woman who disappeared right before his eyes, he faces pandemonium. Emanating the neat look of a civil servant, Kim perfectly assimilates to the mystery lurking in his demeanor.
Kim Manok (Kim Sung Kyun), who exudes a compelling presence, is an unidentified murderer who does not know the exact date of birth, has no family or friends. But suddenly an unknown entity ‘ghost’ appears and helps him. The reason why he receives the protection of ‘ghost’ is one of the drawing points of the story.
Finally, the ‘ghost’, which the four above characters chase for different purposes, is a key figure in the ‘grid’ mystery. This is because, in 1997, she created a global shield to save mankind due to the threat of the solar wind. After vanishing, she reappears to help a heinous killer.
From the expression to the eyes, Lee Si Young’s irresistible force and mysterious atmosphere perfectly integrate into the character, thereby amplifying the mystery.
Meanwhile, Disney+’s first UHD original series Grid will be released for the first time on February 16.
