Stunning character posters hype up the wait for the premiere of Gyeongseong Creature!
Set to deliver thrill and action, Gyeongseong Creature follows individuals going up against monstrous creatures that were born out of human greed. Set in the spring of 1945, in the city of Gyeongseong, the series is highly anticipated due to the sheer amount of talent tied to it.
Gyeongseong is the former name of Korea’s capital city Seoul, and the name used during Japanese colonial rule. The upcoming series invites audiences to 1945 Gyeongseong, the hotbed of turmoil caused by creatures that suddenly appear and wreak havoc on an already troubled world.
Meet the Key Figures of Gyeongseong Creature
The released images feature colorful characters living in the turbulent times of 1945, with Geumokdang, Bonjeong Street, and Ongseong Hospital in the background.
Jang Tae-sang (Park Seo Jun), Gyeongseong’s number one informant, exudes the dignity of the owner of Geumokdang, the best pawn shop in Gyeongseong, with the curious expression and confident appearance of a self-made businessman.
Yoon Chae-ok (Han So Hee), is a bounty hunter known to find dead people. Her strong look and a faint smile raise curiosity about the story of how she came to Gyeongseong.
The appearance of Na Wol-daek (Kim Hae Sook) and Gu Gap-pyeong (Park Ji Hwan), members of the Geumokdang family, smiling brightly in the old-fashioned atmosphere of Geumokdang, suggests a family-like relationship with Jang Tae-sang. Meanwhile, the resolute expression of Chae-ok’s father, Yoon Jung-won (Jo Han Chul) shows his long-running predicament. It seems like he is showing a firm determination to find his missing wife.
Unlike the warm atmosphere of the previous posters, Yukiko Maeda (Claudia Kim), Lieutenant Kato (Choi Young Jun), and Ichiro (Hyun Bong Sik) are smiling mysteriously against the backdrop of Ongseong Hospital, which has a gloomy vibe, revealing the huge secret that Ongseong Hospital keeps. Unlike the characters’ gentle smiles, the torn part of the poster, and scattered blood stains foretell a desperate struggle for survival that began with greed.
