Ha Ji Won Suits Up Into A Feisty Detective Role In The International Series "Dramaworld 2"

International drama sensation, Dramaworld 2 gets more hype from K-drama fans with the addition of superstar actress, Ha Ji Won.

Hallyu superstar, Ha Ji Won, will participate in the second installment of the joint American-Korean project, Dramaworld.

On October 12, Haewadal Entertainment, the actress’ management, confirmed the exciting news.

Released in 2016, the hit romantic-comedy series, Dramaworld, gained massive popularity in various parts of the world. Its first season successfully featured a unique fusion of creative Korean drama elements and western cinematic techniques.

A Real And Reel World Crossover

Dramaworld follows the extraordinary journey of a geeky 20-year old American college student, Claire Duncan (Liv Hewson). Obsessively, she turns to K-dramas as an escape from her monotous life. She typically divides her time between her studies, her part-time job and watching K-dramas.

With an intense affinity to the series, Taste of Love, Claire daydreams of meeting its protagonist, Joon Park (Sean Dulake). She is particularly drawn to his enigmatic and alluring appeal.

However, an unimaginable twist of fate transports her to the world of her favorite drama. Her dream of seeing her charismatic hero in flesh finally comes true. Although exciting as it may seem, her ability to adapt to the glitz and glamour of the drama world will be tested.

Along the way, she also meets another interesting character, Seth Ko (Justin Chon). Likewise, he was magically transported to the drama world without any clue as to how and why it happened. As he has been there long before Claire arrives, he will serve as her mentor as she navigates the alternate reality they got stuck in.

Consequently, Claire’s unexpected presence threatens the perfect flow of things in the drama world.

Diving into the international scene, Ha Ji Won will appear in a supporting role in Dramaworld 2. Her character as an unbeatable detective will display a strong and fearless persona.
