“Heo’s Diner” Heats Up Expectations with Rivalry-Fueled Poster

Heo’s Diner is whipping up a storm with a poster that throws down the gauntlet between EXO’s Xiumin and Lee Seon.

Stirring excitement, the lead stars go for a battle of wills, seasoned with a dash of time travel and a whole lot of culinary fire.

Set to premiere on March 24, Heo’s Diner is a fantasy-comedy romance that follows Joseon-era figure Heo Gyun as he unexpectedly finds himself 400 years in the future, running a restaurant in modern times. Adapted from a popular web novel, the drama promises a thrilling storyline built around the fierce competition between Xiumin’s Heo Gyun and Lee Seon’s Lee Hyuk.

The poster captures their tense dynamic, with Heo Gyun (Xiumin) standing back-to-back with Lee Hyuk (Lee Se On), both exuding an air of vigilance. Xiumin, typically known for his carefree charm, portrays Heo Gyun with a cold, serious gaze, hinting at the challenges he’ll face in the present day. Meanwhile, Lee Se On’s intense expression showcases Lee Hyuk’s relentless ambition, setting the stage for a high-stakes battle.

As suggested by the tagline “Jagangducheon’s Hate Restaurant,” the two will go head-to-head—one as the chef of Heo’s Diner and the other as a fine dining rival. With Heo Gyun determined to protect what’s his and Lee Hyuk willing to go to any lengths to take it, audiences are eager to see how their culinary showdown unfolds.

Adding to the anticipation, Xiumin and Lee Seon previously showcased strong chemistry in CEO Mart, making fans excited for their dynamic in this new project.

Heo’s Diner, a joint production of Japan’s Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures and Corpus Japan, is set to make its debut on the 24th.
