Set to broadcast on September 16, Hyo-shim’s Independent Life announces UEE’s return to weekend drama.
The new KBS 2TV weekend drama Hyo-shim’s Independent Life narrates the story of Hyo-shim, a daughter who devoted her whole life to her family with her innate good nature and warm empathy. But then she decides to live an independent life away from the family which makes her life difficult.
It is a family liberation drama depicting the process of finding a life away from family members who rely without consideration.
Uee, who recorded an audience rating approaching 50% with My Only One in 2019, is making a comeback to KBS weekend home theater after four years raising great expectations.
In the poster released for her latest drama, a new meaning of filial piety is proudly asserted.
Carrying a flag bearing the word “independence” – Hyo-shim stands proudly showing her pleasant and resolute face.
Gone is her previous belief of filial piety which was her responsibility to support her family. Her determined look makes you want to support her family liberation goal.
The process of independence of the young head of household, Hyo-Shim, overcoming her family’s resistance and finding her own life, is the main point of observation in Hyo-shim’s Independence Life.
Hyo-shim is the third daughter of four siblings, with two older brothers and a younger brother. She is also a naturally kind-hearted child who is the only one who understands the tears and wounds of her mother, who wept over her husband who disappeared one day, leaving all of her wife and children behind.
She has therefore devoted herself to her family, trying to fill the gap left by her father. Since she was young, she has been exceptionally confident in using her body, and she is also good at exercising, so she currently works as a fitness trainer at a fitness center.
Hyo-sim, the modern version of a filial daughter has lived more diligently than anyone else to support her family.
As seen in character stills unveiled by the production team, Hyo-shim is the de facto head of the family as a fitness trainer. Committed to her role, the photos reveal Hyo-shim’s workout training which captures her perfect posture.
Hyo-shim’s Independent Life will be broadcast for the first time on KBS 2TV at 8:05 pm on Saturday, September 16.
