Kakao M is doing a great job in the teasers of the live adaptation of famed webtoon Amanza.
Signing up Ji Soo, the talented actor suits up for a challenging role different from the characters he has played so far.
Co-produced by Lezhin Studio, Amanza is a human fantasy series about a young man diagnosed with terminal cancer. He travels back and forth in a dream world where he does not face suffering. Exciting adventure unfolds letting him find the meaning of life.

It is based on a webtoon of the same name by author Kim Bo Tong, who has earned various awards for his work.
With over 20 million views, Amanza has been designed with a unique composition. It combines live action and animation.
Layered with music gratifying to senses and and immersing actors’ portrayals, it aims to get a “well-made digital drama” badge.
A New Challenge For Ji Soo
For his role, Ji Soo extends extra effort and even shaved his head to capture the feel of his character.
The released poster frames the hopeful mood of his character which is further enhanced by his faint smile.
Subsequently, the teaser video unveiled depicts scenes from the original webtoon that are realistically recreated.
Ji Soo also invited his fans to watch Amanza in another video.

Amanza launches its first episode today, September 1 via Kakao TV channel. Thereafter, 10 episodes about 15 minutes each, will run consequently every Tuesday.
