The star of the recent thrilling drama A Superior Day is confirmed for a new project!
Disney+’s new series 형사록 Criminal Records/Detective Records (LT) chronicles the story of a detective who becomes a murder suspect of a colleague. He chases his past to catch an unidentified blackmailer.
Portraying the role of the aforementioned detective, Kook Jin-han, Jin Goo pursues the mysterious blackmailer with Tae-rok (Lee Sung Min).
Bringing out memorable portrayals, Jin Goo has imprinted his presence in varying genres. After debuting in SBS drama All In in 2003, he has left lingering impressions on the viewers.
His notable works include Descendants of the Sun and Legal High. On the big screen, he was praised in films A Dirty Carnival, Mother, 26 Years, The Admiral: Roaring Current and C’est Si Bon among others.
This year, he made a comeback to the small screen after three years with OCN’s A Superior Day, proving the true value of his acting skills. It convincingly depicts the anguish and struggle of a person who is caught in the bridle of a suffocating fate. By adding depth to the urgency of his character’s situation, he led the immersing effect of the story.
Subsequently, he also appeared in the film The Witch: Part 2. The Other One. He breathed life into his witty acting and realized a three-dimensional villain character, leading to overwhelming praise from the audience and critics.
As Jin-goo has given a clear impact in each work with genuine portrayals in any genre and any character, attention is paid to his upcoming work.
Criminal Records is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in October.
