MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama, Joseon Lawyer, brandishes the first photos of its lead character.
Joseon Lawyer depicts the story of a Joseon-era lawyer who takes revenge on enemies who killed his parents by utilizing his trial skills. Moreover, his character also grows into a real lawyer for the people.
It is a delightful and exhilarating Joseon Dynasty court retribution action drama that shows that true payback is valuable when doing righteous things.
Portraying Kang Han-soo, Woo Do Hwan challenges a role that is similar to today’s brain-sexy man. Interestingly, Kang Han-soo is dubbed a “suitmaker” who causes all sorts of lawsuits to take revenge on the enemies of his parents who were unfairly killed.
When it comes to the law, he is a knowledgeable person who not only covers civil law, commercial law, and criminal law, but also masters the laws of the Ming Dynasty, the Analects, and other foreign laws.
In the preview stills released, Woo Do Hwan dons a hanbok showing his scholarly appeal. Confident and relaxed, his appearance effortlessly draws attention to the adventures Kang Han-soo will embark on.
Woo Do Hwan’s homme fatale appearance with sharp eyes also doubles the charm of his clever character. His charismatic presence stands out as he holds a law book, gazing somewhere with serious eyes.
Giving more details to Kang Han-soo, the production team also invites viewers to anticipate Woo’s new work.
“The character of Kang Han-soo struggles to avenge his father who was killed unfairly by the existing law. He is a person who has a talent for dazzling people by showing off his splendid speech and legal knowledge. Please look forward to how Woo Do-hwan’s turbulent revenge drama will be portrayed.”
