The lead actors of KBS2 youth series Imitation extend their thankfulness to all the fans who supported them and the drama.
Directed by Han Hyun Hee and written by Kim Min Jung along with Choi Sun Young, Imitation is a musical romance drama that narrates the life of Korean pop idols.
Lee Ma-Ha (Jung Ji So) is a member of a new Korean group “Tea Party.” As she continues to carve her career, she crossed paths with top idol Kwon Ryeok (Lee Jun Young).
Kwon Ryeok is the most popular member of the group Shax. Even though their relationship is rough at first, they started to see each other secretly, knowing that their career is at risk.
Meanwhile, Park Ji Yeon plays La Li Ma who showed her great charisma as an artist. Jung Yun Ho characterizes Yoo-Jin who developed a one-sided love with his friend Ma-Ha.
Imitation’s Lead Characters Are Grateful
In an interview, Jung Ji So said that this is her first time experiencing being an idol character and takes Imitation as an unforgettable piece.
“I think it will be an unforgettable piece. There were a lot of difficulties in preparing, but I’m really grateful that Maha could have been born thanks to the colleagues who filmed together”
Meanwhile, Lee Jun Young had a happy and memorable time filming Imitation. He also extends his thanks to his colleagues, production staff, and managers who made Imitation a well-made drama.
“I would like to once again thank all those who loved our work. I hope you felt warmth and the human heart in this work that showed various emotions. Watch out for Corona 19 and be always happy.”
Moreover, Park Ji Yeon who played La Li-Ma, said that she didn’t notice that Imitation has come to an end.
“I used to have a lot of scenes on stage because I played the role of a top solo female singer, but it was a work that made me think a lot and has been immersed in my memories, I’m really grateful for fans for loving Imitation. I’ll be more than happy to meet you in the future.”
Lastly, ATEEZ’s Yun Ho who successfully did his first drama believed that short-comings are present but the drama ended well.
“Thank you to the viewers for loving Imitation. It must have been a lot of shortcomings because it was my first time, but I think I was able to finish it well because everyone on the scene, including the director and the writer, helped me a lot. I had a lot of experiences and I had a lot of studying, and I had precious memories, so it was really unforgettable.”
The drama has been entertaining the audience triumphantly while presenting the reality of the Korean-Pop world and its artists that also face struggles in reaching their dreams.
