Welcome back to K-Dramaland Jung Woo Sung!
I haven’t started yet on Delayed Justice, but now I am compelled to see it because of Jung Woo Sung.
The SBS TV series finally sealed the new Park Sam-soo after Bae Sung Woo’s exit in the drama. The actor was caught driving under the influence (DUI) last month. According to reports, his blood alcohol level was high enough to revoke his license.
Following calls for the actor’s removal from the drama, the production team issued a statement on December 11 apologizing for the postponement of Delayed Justice. After its 12th episode on December 12, it will have a three-week break, resuming broadcast in the coming year.
Likewise, on December 10, Artist Company, the actor’s agency, issued an official statement regarding the matter. Deeply apologizing for Bae’s unpleasant news, they claim responsibility for causing concerns to many people.
Today, the drama production side confirmed the replacement of Bae Sung Woo. Additionally, Jung Woo Sung will join the filming this week. Both actors are housed by Artist Company.
The drama representative also shared that the shooting has already reached the 16th episode, so editing Bae’s appearance will be utmost priority. From there, Jung Woo Sung will appear from the 17th to the 20th episode.
It has been eight years since the esteemed actor appeared in a drama with JTBC’s Padam Padam. His notable series include Asphalt Man and Athena: Goddess of War.
Active in the big screen, Jung Woo Sung is a decorated top-tier actor. His most popular films include Beat, A Moment To Remember, Musa, The Good the Bad and the Weird, Asura, and Innocent Witness.
