Lead actors Son Hyun Joo and Jang Seung Jo are back to catch the bad guys in the crime and action series, The Good Detective 2.
Starring Son Hyun Joo, Jang Seung Jo, and Kim Hyo Jin, The Good Detective 2 focuses on the story of model detectives from the Violent Crimes Team 2 who joined forces to chase and fight against unlawful and immoral criminals.

A Tougher and Powerful Second Season
Talking about the series characters’ current status, Kang Do-chang (Son Hyun Joo), the veteran detective, develops a trauma after an innocent man he arrested lost his life after being sentenced death penalty. Adding up to his worries is his menopausal stage, making him timid. He then considers not working on-site investigations, but Oh Ji-hyuk (Jang Seung Jo) drags him back to work on a crime scene.
Meanwhile, Ji-hyuk is now a compassionate detective who empathizes with the victims and their families. Together, they lead the Violent Crimes Team 2 of Incheon Police Station. They will soon begin investigating a case of serial murder to bring justice and to help the innocent.
Joining the series is Cheon Na-na (Kim Hyo Jin), the TJ Group’s director of planning. Na-na’s mother took her own life because of experiencing domestic violence from his father. After the sorrowful event, she left to save herself from abuse. She then learned how to survive on her own. She later lived with a conglomerate family, which led her to be the company’s director.
Looking back, the first season successfully pulled off a realistic world of detectives. Now, the fans worldwide are highly anticipating a more thrilling second season, especially to witness the cool yet comedic tandem of lead actors Son Hyun Joo and Jang Seung Jo once again.
The model detectives are on their way to chase the bad guys! K-Plus channel will officially simulcast the awaited series starting on Sunday, July 31, at 9.15 pm (GMT+8). Weekly episodes will then air every Sunday & Monday at 9.15 pm (GMT+8).
