Kim Min Jae, Park Gyu Young and Kwon Yul showcase their perfect synergy in the first table read of the upcoming KBS drama Dali and Cocky Prince!
Slated for September premiere, the romantic-comedy series follows the romance between the daughter of a prestigious family who wants to save a ruined art museum and the man who lacks book smarts but is extremely good at making a living.
Prior to the table script read, Director Lee Jung Sub expressed some remarks for the actors.
“I am grateful to be able to film with great actors. I will work hard to create an enjoyable atmosphere where we can always film with smiles. I hope we can make a fun work together.”
Taking the role of Jin Mu Hak is Kim Min Jae. He came from a family who runs a global food corporation DonDon F&B which started as a small gamja-tang (spicy pork backbone stew) restaurant. Despite not being the smartest person in the room, he has an incredible sense and ability to make money.
With his deep voice and authentic acting, the actor transforms into his character Jin Mu Hak by showcasing his serious and comical charms.
Park Gyu Young transforms into Kim Dal Ri, the daughter of an elite family who has a perfect upbringing and education. Working as the director of an art museum, she is an elegant character who is also fluent in seven languages.
Kwon Yul portrays Tae Jin, an executive director who clashes with Mu Hak. He is intelligent, caring, and has a high understanding of art. He is sweeter to Dal Ri more than anyone else.
Hwang Hee plays Won Tak, a police officer who has been with Mu Hak since they were young. Former MOMOLAND member Yeon Woo is the lovable Chak Hee, a curator who is linked with Mu Hak. She led the bright atmosphere of the script reading scene with her lovely and refreshing charms.
Supporting actors Woo Hee Jin, Ahn Kil Kang, Hwang Bo Ra, Ahn Se Ha, Seo Jung Yeon and more will bring lots of laughter to the viewers with their amusing acting.
In particular, actor Jang Gwang, who takes on the role of Dal Ri’s father, also participated in the script reading despite his brief appearance in the drama.
The production team invites fans to anticipate the series.
“We express gratitude for the passion of the actors who showcased perfect synergy as if they had worked together for a long time even if its their first time meeting, the project’s onset. As many viewers are looking forward to the drama, we will work together as one until the end.”
