Kim Mu Yeol‘s character, Eulpaso, is the highest-ranking official in Goguryeo and head of the Jega Council. As national prime minister under King Go Nam-mu (played by Ji Chang Wook), he excels in strategy and political acumen, maintaining stability even during the king’s long absences due to war.
Following the king’s unexpected death upon his return from battle, Eulpaso proposes marriage to Queen Woo (played by Jeon Jong Seo) to prevent a power struggle among the tribes. He steadfastly guards the palace, uncovers the truth behind the king’s death, and becomes the queen’s staunchest ally.
