Kim Nam Gil Picks A Profiler Role In His New SBS Drama

From a fiery priest to a profiler, Kim Nam Gil sets his comeback series on SBS!

For his upcoming work, he takes the main character in the drama 악의 마음을 읽는 자들 Those Who Read Hearts of Evil (LT).

To be directed by Park Bo-ram and written by Seol Yi Na, the series is is a crime thriller about profilers struggling to read the minds of serial killers at the peak of evil.

It is based on a novel of the same name written in 2018 by writer Go Namu based on a true story. With Kim’s confirmed appearance, he aims to mark another memorable portrayal.

Kim Nam Gil takes the role of Song Ha-young, a profiler who digs deeper into people than anyone else leading to a deeper delving of crime cases.

He overwhelms with cool charisma and is expected to lead a tension-filled serial killer chase.

Decorated with victorious achievements on big and small screens, the actor piled up commendable works. It includes dramas The Fiery Priest, Queen Seondeok, Bad Guy and Live Up To Your Name. His notable films are The Pirates, Pandora, and Memoir of a Murderer to name a few.

Proving his infinite range as an actor, the expectation is focused on how he will breathe life to Song Ha-young.

Those Who Read Hearts of Evil is scheduled to begin filming as soon as casting is completed.

In addition, he is about to appear in films Guardian and Emergency Declaration scheduled for release this year. He is also set to finish shooting the movie Night Trip in April.

Steadily continuing his work without a hiatus, Kim Nam Gil will start filming SBS latest confirmed drama Those Who Read Hearts of Evil.
