Stunning actress Lee Sung Kyung shares her thoughts about her character Oh Han-Byeol in the Friday-Saturday tvN drama Shooting Stars.
On June 11, the drama ends with a strong message about the struggles and lives of the people behind the cameras. Lee Sung Kyung, who played as the head of the PR team, flaunted a charismatic role that everyone loves.
Oh Han-Byeol fell in love with Gong Tae-Sung (Kim Young Dae), Starforce Entertainment’s most popular artist. Even though they hate each other at first, eventually they realized that romantic feelings are mutually felt by them.
On Reminiscing Her Fond Moments While Filming
When asked about her feelings about the finishing of Shooting Stars, the actress admits she felt sad because the drama has ended. She commends all the actors and staff that did a great job in portraying their roles. Likewise, she also had a good connection with the production team.
“Shooting Star is a work that shows sincerity. Even before the work was over, I felt sad, didn’t want to break up, and I missed it already. It was a work I’m grateful for because it makes the viewers happy.”
On the other hand, the reporters asked her about her feelings about dressing up as Oh Han-Byeol.
“My love for my job resembles me a lot. I envied Han-Byeol’s cool personality and passionate work skills. In this work, rather than a new transformation, many people have built a friendly character of Han Byeol so that they can sympathize with and feel excited. I tried not to lose the comical pleasure there.”
In terms of her relationship with her leading man, Lee shares not having a tough time acting with Kim Young Dae. They adapted well and shot the romantic scenes with their utmost effort.
“It was nice to be able to work together in a friendly and comfortable manner like Hanbyul and Taesung. From the beginning to the end, we knew each other, adjusted, and talked a lot until we got used to it. I was grateful for having Tae-sung and being a good partner with him.”
Lastly, since Shooting Stars ended already, we can expect a reinvented Lee Sung Kyung in her upcoming dramas. As of now, she wants to improve more so that her fans will like her future roles.
