Engrossing teasers are up for MBC EVERY1’s original drama – Lonely Enough To Love – starring Ji Hyun Woo and Kim So Eun!
연애는 귀찮지만 외로운 건 싫어 Lonely Enough To Love is a romance drama depicting the story of young people who co-exist in a “shared house”. They don’t want to enjoy a serious relationship because it gets burdensome. Wanting to enjoy freedom, they still ponder deeply on not wanting to feel lonely.
The new MBC drama captures the current trend among single people in their 20’s and 30’s. In the backdrop of living under the same roof, expect a bright romance story this summer. Penning the script is is Jo Jin Guk of Fated To Love You and Soul Mate fame. Director Lee Hyun Joo will call the shots of the production.
MBC has released teasers of its main leads with Ji Hyun Woo introducing his doctor role Cha Kang Woo, who is obviously skeptic and has grievances about the process of love. He is a psychiatrist with a warm appearance and unique personality. His lone time as bachelor is spent well through music, playing games and toys as well as working on rubix cube.
Meanwhile, beautiful actress Kim So Eun suits up as freelance teacher Lee Na Eun. She spares no effort in helping the weak people and relentlessly pursues the bad ones. After her newspaper writer contract was not renewed, she settles to work as part-time teacher.
However, her dream is to become a novelist. Struggling with her reality, she has lived a non-romantic life in the last four years. Things heat up when she moves to a “shared house” where her romantic veins will be awakened.
In the released teaser, Kim So Eun is featured with encounters with three men. One is Ji’s character while the other two are actors Park Gun Il and Gong Chan. But the intimate shots only lead to Kim’s characters annoyance.
Another teaser was unveiled the main leads alone at a narrow staircase with Ji Hyun Woo carrying Kim So Eun like a princess. Carried and embraced in his arms, Kim So Eun is unable to hide her embarrassment. However, in the next picture, their gazes lock, making the heart pounding moment even to the viewers.
Previously, the cast and crew also held the first table-read signaling the beginning of the production. Love is Annoying, but I Hate Being Lonely has also been pre-sold to three countries in Southeast Asia and Japan.
Meanwhile, the series will be broadcast for the first time on Tuesday, August 11 at 10:50 p.m. via MBC EVERY1
