When a valuable treasure is discovered off the coast of Korea, the country’s biggest degenerates come crawling out of the woodwork in the hope of striking it big in Low Life.
In 1970s Korea, a fisherman discovers a treasure lost for generations at the bottom of the ocean. Taking a small part of it home for himself, word soon begins to spread about the vast fortune waiting to be claimed by those brave enough to risk the depths. Desperate to escape his depressing life, Oh Heedong partners with his uncle Oh Gwanseok in an attempt to reach the treasure before the rest of the world. But with both family members lacking loyalty and integrity, the tension boils to a tipping point.
