Disney+ Unveils a Glimpse Into Its High-Stakes 1970s Power Drama, Made in Korea!
Disney+ has dropped a striking set of stills from its upcoming drama Made in Korea, and they’re packed with tension, ambition, and raw charisma.
Set against the turbulence and rapid development of 1970s South Korea, Made in Korea follows Baek Ki-tae (Hyun Bin), a man determined to climb to the apex of power by turning the nation itself into his business model. Standing firmly in his way is prosecutor Jang Gun-young (Jung Woo-sung), whose ruthless drive to bring him down borders on obsession. Their collision sets off an era-defining showdown.
The nine newly released stills vividly spotlight the characters’ inner storms. Hyun Bin, sharp in his KCIA suit and surrounded by a bustling crowd, hides a piercing gaze that suggests ambition simmering just beneath the surface. Jung Woo Sung, meanwhile, is captured mid-wiretap, consumed by his pursuit—his intensity hinting that he will stop at nothing.
