Uhm Tae Goo and Han Sun Hwa are expected to bring a unique synergy to their roles in the drama My Sweet Mobster!
JTBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama My Sweet Mobster, premiering at 8:50 PM on June 12, tells the story of an unexpected and heartwarming romance between Uhm Tae Goo’s character, Seo Ji-hwan, who has left behind a dark past, and Han Sun Hwa’s character, Go Eun-ha, who plays with children.
This new K-Drama pairing has garnered much attention, especially given the distinctive personalities of their characters. Both actors have spoken about how well they align with their roles.
Uhm confidently stated, “The synchronization between Han Sun Hwa and Go Eun-ha is absolutely 100%.” He praised his co-star, saying, “From the moment she took on the role of Go Eun-ha, she fully embodied it. She portrayed every aspect of the character so well that viewers will likely see her as a perfect fit.”
Conversely, Han Sun Hwa noted that the synchronization between Uhm Tae Goo and his character, Seo Ji-hwan, is about 50%. She explained, “The blend of strength and charisma with innocence and goodness in Ji-hwan’s character mirrors some aspects of Uhm Tae-gu. However, Seo Ji-hwan’s lively personality contrasts with the real Uhm Tae Goo, who is quite shy, showing a different side of him. This will give viewers a new perspective on Uhm Tae Goo.”
My Sweet Mobster promises to captivate viewers with the chemistry between the deeply immersed actors. It is set to premiere on June 12.
