Netflix has officially announced the production of Season 2 of its hit series Bloodhounds and unveiled the cast lineup, promising even more intense action and gripping drama.
The second season continues the story of Gun-woo and Woo-jin, two determined young boxers who previously took down a ruthless gang of illegal loan sharks. This time, they aim their punches at a global illegal boxing league, delivering justice with a powerful, refreshing straight hook.
Returning to their roles, Woo Do Hwan reprises his part as Gun-woo, a righteous boxer with a strong moral compass, while Lee Sang Yi steps back into the shoes of the bold and spirited Woo-jin. Together, they reignite their explosive action chemistry as they take on a new mission to dismantle the underground boxing network. Fans can look forward to the dynamic pairing of Gun-woo’s honest resolve and Woo-jin’s lively energy as they battle formidable opponents.
Adding a new layer of excitement, Jung Ji Hoon joins the cast as Baekjeong, a global villain who lures Gun-woo and Woo-jin into the illegal boxing circuit. Baekjeong, a character with immense strength capable of crushing world boxing champions, uses every cunning tactic to drag promising boxers into his dark empire. This marks Jung Ji-hoon’s first transformation into a villain in 20 years, heightening anticipation for his portrayal of the menacing “king of villains.”
