Jung Woo convincingly turns himself into a distraught family man on the verge of collapse with his well-known diverse acting abilities and captivating character representations in the films Best Friend, New Trial, The Himalayas, and C’est Si Bon, as well as the tvN drama Reply 1994. His most recent work is Mad For Each Other which also streams on Netflix.
While, Park Hee-soon channels his entire charisma as Kwang-chul, much as he did in The Witch: Part 1 – The Subversion and 1987: When the Day Comes, as well as the JTBC drama Beautiful World and the soon-to-be-released Netflix Series My Name.
The chemistry between these two actors is much anticipated as they co-star in A Model Family for the first time.
Yoon Jin Seo adds a dimension to the plot as Eun-ju, Dong Ha’s wife, who is concealing something. Yoon has starred in both large and small-screen productions, including the SBS drama The Girl Who Sees Scents, the KBS drama The Fugitive: Plan B, and the films The Moonlight of Seoul, All for Love, and Oldboy.
Finally, Park Ji Yeon portrays Joo-hyun, a Narcotic and Organized Crime Investigation Division team head who conducts investigations into Dong-ha and Kwang-chul. Park first gained prominence with lead parts in the musicals Ghost, Rebecca, Laundry, and Mamma Mia! before transitioning to drama series with Stranger Season 2 on tvN and Life on JTBC.
This drama will be managed by Suits and Queen of Mystery Director Kim Jin Woo, who established their relationship with Netflix through the second season of Love Alarm, KBS Drama special: Chilseong-ho, production H dramas Homemade Love Story, Tale of Nokdu, and School 2017.
With reputable actors Jung Woo and Park Hee-soon and an outstanding director in Kim Jin-woo, A Model Family promises to have great teamwork. It will be available exclusively on Netflix in over 190 countries.
